The Parish Council has erected a fingerpost at Five Lane Ends, the junction of Eccup Lane, King Lane and Eccup Moor Road. The sign points travellers to local destinations in the area.
There had been a wooden sign at the Five Lane Ends until the Second World War when it was removed. The new fingerpost, in the traditional style of the old West Riding signs, has a finial with its Ordnance Survey Grid reference number.
